WASHINGTON, DC – The Institute of Makers of Explosives (IME) released its first-ever economic impact study highlighting the importance of the commercial explosives industry at the national, state, and congressional district levels.
The International Society of Explosives Engineers Board of Directors gathered in Cleveland on July 11-12, 2024, to advance their mission of enhancing the safety, science, skill, and benefits of explosives engineering worldwide.
The Western Canada Chapter held its 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting April 25 – 27, 2024, in Kamloops, British Columbia. On Thursday, ISEE’s Level 1 Construction Blasting was presented, and certificates were issued by ISEE to those who passed the quizzes. Dr. Anthony Konya presented a seminar on blast design.
