On November 8, 2024, the Eastern PA Chapter ISEE hosted the 8th Annual Clay Shoot and BBQ at the Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays facility in Allentown, PA.
On August 8, 2024, the Eastern PA Chapter of ISEE had planned to hold the first Annual Membership Appreciation event at the Lehigh Valley Iron Pigs baseball. Attendance was free to all members and their families.
The Kentucky Bluegrass Chapter of ISEE recently held its annual golf scramble in support of the Nancy Cole-Allen Memorial Scholarship Fund. Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated volunteers, we are pleased to announce that the event raised over $3,000, with all proceeds directed towards the scholarship fund.
The Western Canada Chapter held its 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting April 25 – 27, 2024, in Kamloops, British Columbia. On Thursday, ISEE’s Level 1 Construction Blasting was presented, and certificates were issued by ISEE to those who passed the quizzes. Dr. Anthony Konya presented a seminar on blast design.
On June 20, 2024 the Eastern Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic Chapters ISEE hosted an 8 hour Blasters Training at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA.
The 35th Annual Best in the West (BITW) Drill and Blast Conference in Spearfish, South Dakota, brought together over 300 attendees for three days of training and networking. Organized by the Black Hills and Northern Plains chapters of ISEE, it featured sessions, a trap shoot, a mountain tour, and an awards banquet raising $16,000 for scholarships.
The Penn State Student ISEE Chapter and Eastern PA ISEE Chapter held a joint dinner and meeting on April 10, 2024, at Pennsylvania State University's Hosler Building. Christopher Catalano, Chief of Explosives and Safety Section at PA Department of Environmental Protection, spoke about "Academics in Blasting."
On June 22, 2023 the Eastern Pennsylvania and Mid-Atlantic Chapters ISEE hosted an 8 hr. Blasters Training at the Blair County Convention Center in Altoona, PA.
ISEE attended the 6th Annual Southeast Blasters Workshop hosted by the Alabama Chapter.
