Provide excellence in seismograph monitoring practices within the explosives industry by training operators in best practices for deployment and set up, measurement, analysis of ground vibrations and air overpressures, as well as monitoring report preparation.

The program is designed and presented by renowned monitoring industry leaders demonstrating seismograph use to ensure accurate and representative measurements to evaluate blast performance and meet regulated compliance limits. The 3-hour training concludes with a 30-minute test. Certificates of completion are awarded to those achieving a 75% or better passing score.

The Program will provide you with the knowledge and skills to ensure blast monitoring is performed to the highest industry standards as endorsed by the ISEE. As an operator you have the unique opportunity to assist blasters with off-site measurements used as a guide to modify blast designs and achieve performance goals. Just as important, you serve the community near blasting operaLons assuring property owners that blasting is conducted in a safe and prudent manner in compliance with stringent regulated limits placed on ground vibrations and air-borne sound pressures.
