The Society of Explosives Engineers Education Foundation (SEE Foundation) has opened the application process for the 2025-2026 scholastic year, offering an exciting opportunity for students pursuing degrees in fields related to the explosives industry.
In 2025, the SEE Foundation will award up to $118,000 USD in scholarships to eligible students, helping support their educational journey in this dynamic field. These scholarships are available to students from any country and attending any university, as long as the institution offers a degree program in a field related to the commercial explosives industry.
The SEE Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 with the mission to serve the long-term educational needs of the explosives industry. The foundation works to promote the inclusion of explosives education in engineering curricula, develop training materials, and offer scholarships to students pursuing related studies.
To be eligible for the SEE Foundation scholarships, applicants must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a technical, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in a field related to the commercial explosives industries. Applications will be evaluated based on:
The SEE Foundation has a history of offering scholarships ranging from a minimum of $400 USD to as much as $7,500 USD for highly qualified students.
Interested students are able to submit their completed applications via email to scholarship@isee.org. The deadline for submission is 11:59 p.m. on May 6, 2025 (US Eastern Time). Please note that late or incomplete applications will not be considered.
