Thank you for your interest in the Society of Explosives Engineers Education Foundation (SEE Foundation) Scholarship Program. The application period for the 2025–2026 academic year has now closed.

This year, the SEE Foundation is proud to have awarded $116,000 USD in scholarships to students pursuing degrees in fields related to the commercial explosives industry. These scholarships are open to students worldwide, attending any accredited university offering relevant degree programs.

About the SEE Foundation

The SEE Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1996 with the mission to serve the long-term educational needs of the explosives industry. The foundation works to promote the inclusion of explosives education in engineering curricula, develop training materials, and offer scholarships to students pursuing related studies.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the SEE Foundation scholarships, applicants must be pursuing, or planning to pursue, a technical, undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree in a field related to the commercial explosives industries. Applications will be evaluated based on:

  • Academic and professional achievements
  • Industry goals
  • A personal challenges narrative
  • A brief statement of financial need

Scholarship Awards

The SEE Foundation has a history of offering scholarships ranging from a minimum of $400 USD to as much as $7,500 USD for highly qualified students.
