Blaster Training Stipend

The Society of Explosives Engineers Education Foundation Blaster Training Stipend opens May 1, 2026.

This program supports professional development for blasting industry professionals, helping them enhance their skills, improve safety and promote a more efficient work environment.

The stipend is designed to fund training and continuing education opportunities that increase expertise and advance careers in the field. Eligible professionals are encouraged to apply beginning May 1.

 

  • Training expenses like registration fees, travel, meals, hotel, parking, etc.
  • Up to $2,500 reimbursement (for 2025)
  • 1-year ISEE membership (for non-members)

  • Must be currently employed in a blasting-related role (blasting, drilling, seismograph monitoring, etc.).
  • Must be looking for training that will improve your skills in blasting or related areas.
  • Must be willing to pay for the training upfront and submit receipts for reimbursement.
  • Supervisor approval may be required (if needed).

  • Programs approved by regulatory agencies or conducted by accredited institutions.
  • Training that improves blasting skills or supports blasting-related work.
