The 2026 Ohio Drilling & Blasting Conference in Newark featured a strong presence from ISEE and our members, highlighting the organization’s technical expertise.
ISEE Executive Director Buck Hawkins attended and exhibited at the event, while several members led the day's key educational sessions. Dr. Cathy Aimone-Martin opened the technical program with a look at blast forces on foundations, followed by Ralph Burnham and J. Kelly Ratcliff addressing liability and records. The afternoon sessions continued the high-level discussions with Dr. Anthony Konya presenting on high-consequence blasting, Dr. Josh Hoffman presenting on electronic detonators, and Neal Lee sharing insights on unique blast design applications.
