Women in the field are driving innovation, leading projects, advancing research and bringing expertise and insight that make a real difference in safety, technology and operations.
Their contributions strengthen explosives, mining, construction and infrastructure projects across the globe. The explosives industry can be challenging, but more women than ever are excelling. ISEE is proud to support this growing community through education, training and professional development, and we are excited about a new initiative to create a Women in Explosives section to connect and support women in the field.
International Women’s Day is also a moment to recognize the mentors and leaders whose guidance inspires the next generation of engineers. Their support encourages more women to pursue careers in engineering, mining and explosives related fields.
