EFEE Conference Draws Nearly 600
The 13th World Conference on Explosives and Blasting was held September 23–25 in Krakow, Poland, drawing over 550 delegates. The event featured an Emerging Professionals reception, a demolition workshop at AGH University, and 50+ presentations on vibration, seismology, demolition, safety, and innovation. A cultural networking dinner honored ISEE Past President Jerry Wallace as EFEE’s first non-European Honorary Member. The conference closed with tours of the Gig Experimental Mine and the Nitroerg factory. The next EFEE World Conference is set for September 12–14, 2027, in Copenhagen.
