Summer Recess is Here!
Now is the time to reach out to your Representatives
Working with explosives also means working with regulations and legislation that involves just about every aspect of the job. Now is the time for those in the US to reconnect with your federal legislators during their summer recess. It's vital to develop and maintain those relationships to help educate policymakers that are not involved with explosives every day to show them what we do. Check out ISEE's Grassroots page to find a local US Representative in your area today! More

Mark Your Calendar Now!
With August already here, now is the time to start thinking about regional events that are taking place this fall in your area. Northwestern Canadian Chapter is having their annual meeting October 15-17th (Best Western Vernon Lodge & Conference Centre Vernon, BC) for those of you in that part of the world and for those more southern, the Chilean Chapter Conference is October 20-22 (Hotel Santa Cruz Santa Cruz, Chile). Within the US there are several conferences that may offer state refresher training hours (make sure to check within your state). The Mid-America Conference is November 3-5th (The Resort at Port Arrowhead, Lake Ozark, MO) and December 2-3 is the Kentucky Blasting Conference (Heritage Hall & Hyatt Regency Hotel, Lexington, KY). For an updated list of events make sure to check out ISEE's Mark your Calendar page! Click here to check it out
