ISEE Membership Categories
The ISEE has several different
classes of membership, Members, Associate
Members, Corporate Members, Student Members,
Emeritus Members, and Life Members. Admission to
membership is upon approval of application.
A Member is any individual working in
areas of engineering using the application of
scientific principles and techniques related to
the use, handling, manufacture, transportation
and storage of explosives. Members in good
standing have the privilege of holding elective
office, voting for officers and directors and
voting on changes to the Constitution.
An Associate Member is an individual who
is interested in explosives engineering, but not
qualified to be a Member. He or she has all the
privileges of a Member except that he cannot
hold elective office or vote on changes to the
Constitution.
Corporate Membership is granted to
organizations rather than to individuals. The
Corporate Membership entitles the organization
to a maximum of three (3) votes and a maximum of
three (3) representatives at society events at
special member rates. The organization is not
limited nor required to send the same three
people to all functions. Corporate Members have
all the privileges of Individual Members, except
a corporation may not have more than one
individual serve as an elected official of ISEE
at any time.
