About The Journal Since
its inception in 1983, the Journal has served as
the official voice of the International
Society of Explosives Engineers, disseminating
timely information to the entire explosives
industry. Every issue of the bimonthly Journal
contains both technical and general industry
developments for blasters, drillers,
consultants, contractors, miners and others
engaged in mining, quarrying, construction,
forestry, demolition and many other pursuits. It
is the most comprehensive source of technical
information and it reaches more people
internationally, than any other publication in
the explosives industry.
Circulation
Each issue of the Journal is
distributed to more than 11,000 individuals in
90 countries six times per year. It is published
in the months of January, March, May, July,

the remaining copies are mailed to a rotating
