The
Society of Explosives Engineers Education
Foundation
The SEE Education Foundation was created in 1996
as a non-profit organization to serve the
long-term education interests of the industry.
More specifically, the Foundation, which is
actually a separate legal entity from the ISEE,
-
encourages
the inclusion of explosives instruction in
engineering curricula;
-
promotes
the collection of information;
-
develops
education and training materials;
-
provides
scholarships, and
-
promotes
forums and media through which experience
with the principles and techniques of
explosives engineering can be taught,
reported, discussed and published.
The
Foundation receives monies on behalf of the
ISEE, manages and invests those funds, and, in
so doing, promotes explosives engineering for
the public good through research, education and
other constructive efforts.
Financial
assets of the foundation will aid the industry
in the future in ways we cannot even imagine
today. The impact of these resources continues
to grow over time. Private gifts enable the
Society, its members, students, and others to
achieve levels of excellence not possible
through membership dues alone.
